Toyo\'s Camera – DVD Used
This CD is the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for a documentary of Japanese American History during WWll and the hardships they encountered in an American internment camp. While cameras were prohibited in these internment camps, there was one photographer who smuggled in a lens and built a camera with it to capture life behind barbed wire. The photographer was Toyo Miyatake. Toyo’s photographs captures their stories of these Japanese Americans prisoners. Released in 2009

Kitaro was one of the many collaborators for this film.

NOTE:
Please see “442 - Live with Honor, Die with Dignity – CD or DVD for an additional Japanese American citizen’s outcome related to the ”infamous” Pearl Harbor attack on December 7th, 1941. A 442nd Infantry Regiment was formed in February 1943 as a segregated unit consisting of mainly Japanese American soldiers formed by the United States Military during World War Two. This army regiment became one of the most decorated units for its size, and length of service, in the history of the United States Military.
